You leave the camp at the hour when the light is longest. The stone desert opens wide around you. There is no sound but hooves on earth and the occasional call of a bird you cannot name. The Atlas Mountains sharpen in the distance as the sun moves lower. This is not an activity. It is a way of being in the landscape.
